Contrary to popular belief, woman CAN skate. However, is it just me or are they always not that good? Don't get me wrong, a lot are better than me but it seems that they never seem to elevate their skills and reputation to level of professional male riders. I guess this could just be down to skateboarding being such a male dominated sport with women hanging up the towel younger or because they don't feel they have to prove, and thus improve, their skills to become the alpha male of the local skatepark. Thoughts?
